Hi my name is Zoe, I'm a senior at Union County High School. I've been involved in many different art classes through my high school career. The first class I took was 2D along with, Ceramics, Sculpture, Painting, Drawing, Advanced 2D, and 3D. Art has become an important part of my life, it was always something that I could escape too.
Throughout high school I used many different mediums throughout my art work, paint played a big role in most of my artworks. When I painted I used acrylic paint, oil paint, and water color paint. Some other mediums I used in my other classes were clay, pencil, colored pencil, oil pastels, and different types of glazes.
My main focus for all of my work was to have a message behind each work, I wanted to leave the audience guessing what each piece was about and what it would mean in their eyes. I wanted all of my work to be as perfect as i could get it, I would go pass the due date many times just to make sure it turned out perfect.
Mrs. Reed played a huge role in my passion for art, i always felt like she was the person I could turn to for ideas and themes, or just to get me on the right track. She supported every piece I created even though there were some ones that needed a bit more time and effort on them, but she didn't hesitate to give me some advice when I needed it; and that made me a better artist at the end of the day.
